Biography

Kerem Uzer creates bold and colourful oil paintings with the inspiration he is pulling from his love of cinema and stories. His paintings usually embrace a darker energy, contrasting with the lively colours, reflecting the usual chaos he endures in his daily thoughts. Based in Istanbul and Dublin; Kerem believes art should comfort the chaotic and disrupt the comfortable. Also, he doesn't like writing artist bios. He thinks any artist's effort to explain himself with words should be irrelevant, considering the visual arts itself is the way of expression they choose. But , since he has to write this one; he would like to remind you that we are all living on a big spinning rock on the center of infinite nothingness. Enjoy!
